Game of thrones!!! Book 1 specifically because I'd originally only bought because it was cheap and my friend had mentioned it before, so it blew me away!

My favourite is probably Northern Lights by Phillip Pullman.

For Fiction anyway.

Bad Science/Bad Pharma By Ben Goldacre are my favourite non-fiction books.

If you like Khaled Hosseini, you might enjoy Elif Shafak's books

Yea I tried and I got half way through it until everything got confusing, and there were too many characters and random unnecessary plots and what not. Honestly didn't understand that book at all. Was expecting too much though I guess.

Samee
I finished it because his endings are amazing but I expected so much more than what I got
Tess of the d'Urbervilles. Pretty heavy going but certainly worth it.
the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Maas
Best series: Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings.
Best book: World Without End (Ken Follett).
Gone girl sorry I can't remember the author but I don't read and this is one of the only ones I actually finished by the way it is better than the film 100%
