Do you have a general idea on what the Physics EMPA might be about

I haven't done anything on it yet, but there are very few units that have associated practicals at A2 so capacitors and simple harmonic motion are likely to come up. Try reading through the past papers of section B on the AQA website to get an idea for what they might ask you about in the written part.

Should settle down after this week hopefully, back to normal and then Easter anyway. Oooh good luck! (we haven't even started prep yet...).

Well definitely not at the moment :P

I'll give it a go but I am absolutely pants at electricity so I can't promise anything!

What exam board are you by the way? The questions don't look like AQA.

the answer is right , but I'd like to know why you multiplied the resistance by 800 ?

800m is the distance between the relay and power source. The resistance is 0.005 ohms per metre. So in 800m of wire there is 4ohms of resistance

Then I multiplied by two because it says the cable is made of two wires.

Do you think it's worth revising AS content for the A2 exam?

I feel like we should be familiar with it. Just because A2 is a building on AS we should have an understanding of AS? And in chemistry we have to know both so I'm treating physics kind of the same.
