Slade School of Fine Art Application Advice

I am not reapplying to Slade, my work will never be conceptual enough for them.
I think I will still go to Leeds, I just really want to do the curation. I'm not sure just doing fine art will hold my attention long enough, I need to do something a bit academic and research-y haha
I think the only reason I would go to Chelsea is because of the reputation, but I'm not overly interested in that...
I mean it's got like 7 turner prize winners, and Leeds had 0 of anything. ..... I mean it is a little tough... but currrrrrationnn. oh gosh. Why can't I do both haha

Chelsea is a great school, so well done for getting an offer! But you really shouldn't weigh up their reputation through the Turner Prize, obviously its an incredible achievement, but it is also quite commercialised, and isn't the 'aim' of an artistic career! Also, honestly fine art at university is 'academic-y and research-y', research really steps up at BA and particularly at UAL, the work has huge basis in academic research, for instance my friend (Chelsea BA & Slade MA) practically studied psychology alongside their BA as that was the what grounded their concepts. Again though, WELL DONE, Chelsea is an exciting offer!

It's like you're not Bertie Wallace, are you?
But yeah, UCL is a great environment for someone who wants to do more than just be an artist and also concentrate on academic reasearch. That was the main reason I applied there.

I had my CSM interview on Friday, they said we can't expect to hear back about offers until the end of the month/start of April soonest because they still have lots of interviews etc, and they're still sending out short notice interview invites - a girl at my college got one on Monday for this Friday.

Its so much cheaper! I've got an interview there but to be honest I know so little about the place. Do you know people that went there? What is the practical difference between this place and GS, Slade and UAL?
