Yep, upstairs didn't smile once didn't write anything down for me AT ALL!! Inhaled impatiently at my answers

But I think it was deliberate to see how you coped with that kind of approach at least that's what I hope

I thought that too, but she played the part very well if that's the case! I had that one second after my utter failure of the first station which was a real treat.

They did say they were testing resilience and she certainly tested it!

Can't believe only 4 turned up to your group as well, seems like at least 1-2 people per group aren't turning up which will make a huge difference. I think we all need a bit of luck and looks like we've lucked out on this cycle.
Freedom! Finally the interview cycle is over lol

Erm, yeah better than expected

There were only 5 people in my group and at the time slot there were 9/12 people which was interesting.

Yeah the waiting is the most enjoyable part haha

Same here. We had 3 out of the 12 people not there.

So on average if 3 don't turn up out of 12 in each group that means out of 360 people, 90 people don't turn up

So it will be 270 interviews for 230 offers

An 85 percent chance of offer

I am now incredibly excited lol, would love to go to Warwick

Warwick is by far my first choice (not that I ended up with any other interviews) and I cannot put into words how much I would like to get on. But have had my mind taken off it all swiftly. Ended up in A&E with child I care for this week and after several hours in resus we were transferred by CATS to specialist hospital for Intensive Care Unit. Was up for 40hrs straight as child's parents were abroad. Administered emergency medications, provided hand over to paramedics and again in A&E, helped keep her other (very young) carer calm while the team was working on her and when she had to be intubated while we were in resus and tried my best to somehow contact parents abroad while passing on what I know their wishes for child's care would be to the team. Happy to say, that she is now breathing on her own and recovering well and quickly the way only little ones do.

To be fair it could still be a massive coincidence that all our groups had non-attendees whilst the rest were full. I'd err on the side of caution and assume half of that but either way the odds are still stupidly good.

Going to be very depressed if I get a rejection this year haha

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that my group on Monday was full so I think that could be a bit of an overestimate, but odds are still pretty good. Good luck to all

At mine it was 11/12, I would be very surprised if the average of non-attendees was 3, that's quite significant.

I imagine they might respond by giving out fewer than 230 offers as, even though some people turned up to interview with other offers, in general, given that there were no February interviews this year, more of the interviewees who actually turn up are likely to accept than last year.

But yes as people have said it's certainly better odds, at interview, than anywhere else

No 3 people didnt turn up
Had my interview at 2.15 on Thurs (i was the one who gave a Cambridge girl a lift back) and I think I had the same lady upstairs who just did not seem like she wanted to interact at all. Thank god it wasn't my first station! My Warwick 1st yr medic friends told me that she's actually very nice in person though

Thank God for that then! She's either as fed up with the whole MMI process as we are or it's just completely staged apathy!

I was interviewed by this famous grumpy lady on Monday. Finished 20 secs early and commented on the weather or something and she bluntly told me that she "wasn't allowed to talk" to me and to "sit in silence until the bell goes" unless I wanted to add anything to what I'd said directly relating to the questions! I'm glad it wasn't just me!

Argh! I hope the odds are as good as we think as I do not think that well. With my other interviews I came out thinking I had done ok but wasn't really sure if I was what they were looking for. But this time round, I'm not feeling confident at all
