which a level economics exam board is the hardest

AQA
i heard it has a full multiple choice paper which sounds easy but is harder than it seems
EDEXCEL
it has multiple choice which requires a good explanation to get marks followed by big mark questions on sources
OCR
most questions around source no multiple choice or big marked questions but hard still

as i will be studying edexcel i want to know which is hardest

Since some Cambridge Colleges don't even ask Economics applicants for Economics at A level ( http://www.undergraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/courses/economics ) and Oxford don't even mention it (http://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/undergraduate/courses-listing/economics-and-management ) for Economics so I strongly doubt they care which specification you study. Please don't make wild assertions as some people take them seriously.

The AQA Bacc is mostly a wrapper containing other qualifications, which do not have to be AQA qualifications. You could obtain it with 3 A levels from other exam boards.

Since Cambridge University runs OCR it seems unlikely that they prefer AQA's A levels.

AQA makes up a larger, possibly the largest percetage of qualifications awarded (you may check the OFQUAL website)
For this reason it can be described as a more ''prestigous'' qualification compared to say, WJEC
By no means will any university reject you or chose you over other students who have done AQA but although it is not out rightly said , it is a more widely recognised and favourable qualification

Biggest load of *******s I have ever heard.

AQA is easy except biology in comparison to other boards.
OCR is easiest for physics.
Edexcel is easiest in chemistry.
CIE is hardest in math.
wjec is a joke.

Cambridge do not specify anywhere which exam board they prefer.

Anyway OP if you are the best out of all the test takers for your exam board you will max ums out regardless.

Where exactly is this on the OFQUAL website? As ever your posts are full of assertions without any evidence. If you look on the exam board websites you can see that the picture is a lot messier - for instance nearly 3 times as many people took Edexcel A level Maths ( http://qualifications.pearson.com/en/support/support-topics/results-certification/grade-statistics.html?Qualification-Family=A-Level ) as AQA A level Maths (http://www.aqa.org.uk/exams-administration/about-results/results-statistics ). Not that I would argue that either was more prestigious on tha basis.
