Confused why people are over-reacting at the notion of Theo going to PSG/Juve.

At least he might get past the Round of 16 in the Champions League.
Let him go, and if we get reus, it'll be like upgrading a ford with nitrous to a bmw

Yeah, especially if he played for PSG.

Or Monaco, or Bayern, or AC Milan, or Barcelona.

Do we really want Reus?

I mean, normally a fit player comes to arsenal.. and then starts to pick up injuries..

But now we are going to sign an already injury prone player?

Maybe it will work in reverse, and the injury-prone player will never have an injury again?

Besides, we signed a Swedish CM with a broken back last time, so it wouldn't stop Wenger.

Touche.

Considering it now (and whilst it will never happen), Theo could be amazing for AC Milan.

Yh Agree Sncheiderlin has a lot of clubs he could go to but I just have an irk feeling it'll be UTD.

Bielik was for the U21's. Shouldn't be considered or even thought of tbh

Doubt it, if we sign anyone from Saints it'll be Clyne (I think we have a verbal agreement already). City could really do with him though, plus he counts as a HG player which they are in desperate need of.

Shaw, Herrera, Fellaini, RVP

Could argue Blind as well

Herrera popped up once under Moyes then as far as we all know went to live under a bridge with a troll until about a week before you signed him. He's probably been your best signing since RVP tbf to him.
Didn't realise Sneiderlain counted as HG? How long has he been at Soton then??

Once that specialist in failure Wenger is gone Arsenal will dominate Europe

Since 2008 (he was 18 when he joined).

So he won't be classed as HG in 3 or 4 years once the new regs come in then?

Nope, since the player would need to be 15 when signed.

I thought that was the case, bit of a shame when you consider there are strict rules in place for signing players below 16 from abroad (like it's pretty ****ing difficult unless you want to offer their parents a job too like Real Madrid did).

Dyke obviously trying to force big teams to have English players, but what's the point when all the top ones have inflated prices and wages and often aren't as good as players abroad. Grassroots is so ****ed right now, there are bigger issues further down the chain, local 3G pitches in my area are deserted because you have to pay like £50 an hour for them.

I know. I get wanting more British players in the league, but we'll just end up with a system like La Liga or the Bundesliga, where the division between the top 7/8 and the rest is massive. The problem is that Dyke is trying to go top down, not bottom up. He should focus on improving the grassroots, which will then lead to more good British players, not just ban non-English players from playing.
