Oh my God I thought I was the only one! Yesterday my school finished at 12:15 and I ended up missing 2 of my 3 lessons that day helping the receptionist and 2 other teachers at my school find a document confirming that I've been of fsm. Instead the I got a letter from the deputy head at my school and I included the primary school document from 2006 of entitlement to fsm (that got passed to my secondary school, hence allowing me to receive fsm till today). I also wrote a letter explaining the situation before posting it this morning.

What did you score if you don't mind me asking

467 (Yes I know I scraped it😂) I am also in care so I get first priority and they also made a mistake as I have mentioned in this thread because they put me in the third priority group because I don't get fsm and had to phone them up, I like the school but they seem very disorganised

Glad to know you've earned your place! I agree with that, they have just opened last year so we can give them that but some of the mistakes they are making are not what I would've expected from a school with such a reputation.

You had to miss your lessons just to find evidence for free school meals?

The office couldn't find my original document of my free school meals so they had to write me a letter instead. But I think Harris Westminster want an original document so I don't know whether they will accept my letter as proof.

One of my friends who wants to go here was free school meals for about a year but at a different school outside London. Does this mean she will have to travel all they way to her old school just to get evidence when it is very likely that the school is closed for the easter break? If she doesn't get the evidence, do you think that her place at Harris Westminister will be at risk despite her situation? I'm not so sure about this.

They mentioned that the offer could be reconsidered had they not received anything but before they mentioned they want a scan they said confirmation can take the form of a letter from the school so I think they'll accept that, I did that too but just included a bunch of extra stuff to confirm it.

The school is most likely closed for half term, I'm not sure whether they'll receive our letters before their original deadline

Oh yeah. I was wondering why I have to send my letter before the 6th April when it is Easter Monday which didn't make any sense. I think that they should have extended the deadline untill late April especially when I recieved the letter the day before my school broke up which forced me to rush the office to get the document when I could have waited after Easter. That way the office at my school will have more time to find the document.

That's great news! I've only sent mine yesterday second class (probably should have sent it first class recorded). Hopefully they will receive my letter by Thursday.

A non-selective academy.
I also go to an academy, since their are no grammar schools in my area.
