I remember when I had to choose unis, and it was so difficult. I found it really helpful to talk to other people who have studied at the uni.

Hey, I'm looking at MSV, im doing music production, have you sorted your finance out yet?
I've done everything other than put the uni I'm going to because bimm aren't on the student finance website yet. I called them up and they said that everything should be sorted by end of march / beginning of April. Can still sort out the rest though!

Fair enough, I entered in all the details manually but it was a bit of a ball ache. Also when you applied for accommodation, how did you do it? because the website doesnt do online booking yet
Yea that's what I did but it doesn't work unfortunately haha. I did it all over the phone. You can fill out an application and post it but if you call it saves all the waiting around The lady on the other end was really helpful and told me what other bimm students usually go for in terms of start dates and how long a contract you want

Quite a lot of us are staying at MSV. I have an offer for Music Production but think I'm gonna go on the Songwriting course instead

Hey I've got an unconditional offer from BIMM Manchester for for Music Production too, I'm looking at the student village due to the fact it's the cheapest place i can find and it is right round the corner from BIMM

I was just going over my contract for msv before I send it off and it doesn't actually mention anything about internet being in your room or whether its included in the total cost. After finding that out I checked the website and it doesn't mention anything about having internet on there either. Doesn't anyone know for sure whether its included? I'm gonna call them up tomorrow anyways just to make sure.

Hey guys I'm staying at MSV now and switching to Bimm from another uni I'm setting up a Facebook group for new first years since my friends here did that now last year and had about 30 people
