Hi arjunjhaveri,

Thank you for considering us in your shortlist!

Our BA(Hons) Architecture course has a 96% student satisfaction rate, which is among the highest in the country, and means that students enjoy studying their subject at Northumbria. This is down to the individual space students get given in the workshop at the beginning of their course, that they can personalise and work at as much as they wish - not many other universities can offer this! There is also a very well established Architecture Society (ArchSoc) at the Students' Union which regularly offers extra-curricular trips, lectures and opportunities to ensure students maximise their time at Northumbria.

Our graduate employment rate for this course is 95% which means that studying at Northumbria also helps students with their career prospects after their time with us.

In terms of Newcastle as a city, 1 in 6 people in Newcastle are students which has contributed to it being voted as the UK's Best University City by MSN Travel Guide, and the number 1 city for student life. It's a very vibrant, compact and buzzing city, with beautiful countryside and beaches only a short Metro ride away.

You can find out more about our Architecture course on our website, where you can also find out about the advanced Architecture courses we offer once you have completed your undergraduate degree.

If you want any more information please don't hesitate to contact us!

Thanks,

Sarah
Thank you so much Sarah! For all that I had researched about the Universities I had shortlisted, Northumbria had always been my number 1!

I'm foreigner and i wonder, if there are any internet resources containing info about grants, scholarships for foreigners in the UK. Or some kind of exchange for students programmes.

Are you from the EU? generally you need to look at specific uni websites and you won't get a grant for tuition

Hello

Newbie here. I signed up to TSR as I saw the sub forum on apprenticeships and thought 'I can help them!', so I'm here mainly to give advice to those either thinking of applying for apprenticeships or to provide advice to those who aren't enjoying their current apprenticeship.

Feel free to send me a PM with any questions you don't want to ask in the open forum...

Just so you know, I run a business called The Apprentice Finder which is a specialist recruitment service specifically aimed at helping school & college leavers find meaningful apprenticeship placements. As I have been in the industry for several years now I have seen most scenarios before so I'm in a good position to provide advice.

Hi all
hey guys!
Morning:colondollar:
Hi, new here and wondered if anyone had any interview advice for my interview next week with Goldsmiths Uni ?
I'm worried that I don't have much recent visual work to add to my portfolio. I graduated in 2007 and have since worked in creative retail and Nannying. Although I have a lot of childcare experience, I lack any in a learning environment except for few creative workshops that I had to design and host. I really enjoy the learning, teaching and creating process hence why I applied to train to teach. I am now in contact with Secondary schools asking for opportunities to assist in their Art lessons between now and Sept (if im accepted) .....any advice welcomed.
Thank you
