University of Sheffield - Accomodation

Ok, so I set this up so that potential students who intend to study at the University of Sheffield can try and find who they will be sharing halls with next year!

Hi. I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with shared bathroom accommodation in Endcliff?

I know a reasonable amount about shared bathroom accommodation - what are you wanting to know?

Hi.
I'd like to know about
1. the shower facilities in shared bathroom. (stalls or single)
2. how many students to a bathroom
3. what students prefer in general(according to you).

thanks

1. There are usually 2/3 showers in a bathroom. There are individual cubicles with a changing area in front of a shower cubicle (so a cubicle within a cubicle). If you are worrying about privacy, there is no need to worry, you you have a private changing area with a single, private shower.
2. Depends on the size of the flat: (typically) Crewe = 6, Vale = 8/9, Crescent = 4-6).
3. By far the most popular choice for students is en-suite/self-catered. The second most popular option is standard (shared bathroom)/self-catered. The three halls of residence that meet this description are Crewe Hall, Endcliffe Vale Hall and Endcliffe Crescent Hall. They are all really nice halls, and I'm sure you will have a great time wherever you are. Crewe is a very traditional hall of residence (really nice, old building, set in its own grounds, with tennis courts), whilst the other two were built in the early 1990s).

Hope this helps - if you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
