Maybe they should do a subject called Future with Stem elements in.
If that's the case, what's the point in even discussing the past at all? Do you never dwell on mistakes you have made, or reminisce about happy times? If you have a little self-awareness, then you will realise that it is important to remember these experiences as they shape who we are today. Studying history does the same thing.
So if we didn't learn medical history such as medicine, if the we ran out of a drug. We wouldn't be able to make more of it because it would involve going into the past?
I mean history such as American West/Medicine through time etc.
Nice try.
A* CIE iGCSE History. Come back next year troll.
When I posted this, I inexplicably meant agree with me.
Love the avatar.
Wait what? How is learning about Medicine in the past not helpful for the present/future? How do you think medical advances and cures for diseases and technology etc is supposed to progress without knowing about the past? :/
Topics covered in history are still relevant today. The aftermath of the world wars is very important when understanding Europe and UKs relationship with USA. The past gives us context to the present.
