Two scenarios: died within 5 days of being kidnapped, or was trafficked to Eastern Europe where she now lives with another family, speaks a different language, and her parents are a distant memory. The first seems the most likely, but I heard someone where that there is a trend in Eastern Europe to kidnap blonde children and sell them to other people, but not always for the unthinkable, but kind of as a form of adoption.

Third scenario: The parents murdered her, or it was manslaughter, and they covered it up.

Gerry McCann is a sociopath.

Her Parents were negligent. I doubt most people would have been stupid enough to have left their 3 children alone.

However, they certainly didn't kill her.

The only people that believe they are murderers are people that haven't bothered to read about the case in any detail or the incompetent police.

I've done lots of research on it ... read hundreds of articles ... read books ... watched film ... documentaries ... I still think they did. Possibly not murder, maybe manslaughter at the very least ... but something happened. This is the opinion I'll have until the day they find her poor mangled body.

I could write a play on why I think they had something to do with it, but it's likely you'll get all defensive and refuse to hear me out

Parents didn't kill her - although it is partly their fault for being stupid enough to leave the kids home alone.

Odds are that Madeleine is dead by now, but even if she's alive it's highly improbable that she'll be found or even know who her parents are

Lol. Yeh. They kept the body hidden for a 25 days and hired a car, then put the body in there and got rid of the body and no one noticed. That makes sense.

Lol and you tell us to do our research?

It didn't have to be the body, it could've been the clothes she was wearing when she died ... it could've been anything.

The fact that the sniffer dogs picked it up screams something fishy. These are dogs who have solved several murder and missing persons cases in the past.

You can either say that the Dogs found a scent of death or they got rid of the body immediately. You cannot have both.

:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:
The media should stop banging on about a lost cause. She's gone and I don't care anymore. Her parents are stupid for what they did.

All this media attention has done nothing to bring her back. Focus on someone else now. MM is probably dead, in child porn or adopted.

The Car which the "scent of death" was found in, was hired 25 days after the disappearance.

Therefore, they need to have kept the body for at least 25 days before transporting it in the car.

You can either say that the Dogs found a scent of death or they got rid of the body immediately. You cannot have both.

Lol what? Scent of death sound funny to you?

Sniffer dogs aren't very reliable, they get it wrong more often than not.

Never said they were 100% reliable, but besides the sniffer dogs used in the McCann case have solved hundreds of crimes. I call that reliable.

It's nowhere near 100%.

They may very well have but they will have got it wrong on far more occasions, which is most likely the case here too.

Try replying to my point instead of creating 3 irrelevant posts.

Sniffer dogs do not solve cases. Humans do. That is why the evidence is evaluated using common sense.

You are just making things up to fit the facts. There is no evidence that they disposed of the body. Kept the clothes for 25 days and then disposed or kept the clothes.

Exactly is not an answer. As I said before, the Sniffer Dogs do not trump common sense.

That is why the British Police ignored it.

62-76% success rate. They get it right more often than not.

Evidence from that same dog in another investigation was accepted without a body.

..............

As for the OP, i think she's dead. I'm with the ex-police officer..

“She died in the apartment as a result of a tragic accident and the parents simulated an abduction after failing to care of their children,” Tavares de Almeida, former chief inspector at Portimao police station during the initial months of the investigation, told the court in Lisbon.
“These were the conclusions of a police report signed by me on September 10 2007,” he added.

Giving evidence, Mr de Almeida said that the dogs had identified blood and the scent of a human corpse inside the childrens’ bedroom and the dining room of the McCanns’ holiday flat.
The animals also reacted to traces on a piece of cloth in a villa rented by the McCanns after they left the apartment and in the boot of a rental car hired by the family several weeks after Madeleine disappeared.
Mr de Almeida also complained that Portuguese police efforts to investigate the McCanns had been frustrated by their British counterparts. “We were told that the UK would not accept any investigation of the McCanns there was a lack of cooperation,” he said.
But later he said that the theory that the parents had covered up Madeleine’s death as outlined in Amaral’s book was one reached by British police on the ground in Portugal too.
“This wasn’t something invented by Amaral,” he insisted. “It was a conclusion reached by the team of Portuguese investigators as well as British police.”

If you check out why they are in the paper today you might want to keep your accusations off a public forum and to the four ales bar instead.

Where'd you get that from?

With Madeleine McCann's parents now back in the news over a suing involving an ex-police chief involving £427000 of fines (Including interest) the whole conspiracy and story behind the case is back in my mind.

So I've opened up this topic to hear your guys opinions of the matter, as a student of Law myself it would be interesting to read your opinions and add them into my blog.

Some possible questions:

- Should her parents be liable to failing to provide an omission of care?NO
- Does their story add up? YES
- Does the evidence found at the scene of the incident point directly to an abduction?YES
- Why do the public provide sympathy for the parents as it was partially their doing as they decided to leave her unattended? THEY ARE NOT SOULLESS CONSPIRACY FREAKS
- What do you make of the Police Chief's claims of her parents accidentally murdering their daughter and using the abduction as a cover up?COMPLETE *******S

i hope this helps
Absolutely her awful parents are to blame, who leaves a 3 year old unattended in a foreign country?! They should be thrown in jail, disgusting, I hope they rot with guilt.
They probably didn't murder her, but they were pretty stupid to leave the children alone in an unlocked room.
South Park explains.
