That there some good bitterness. Don't worry, maybe next season you can mount a title challenge. I don't care about Arsenal anyway, small club and always will be.
Man's is always bitter of a team who's nicked our 4th spot and loses with 80% possession . The saltiness is real.

Depleted right now:
Specialist in failure strikes again. Funny how your fans are deluded enough to think a CDM will solve all your big game problems when you have Giroud up front...
Are you actually serious or are you just using this to take a shot at Arsenal?
I'm serious.
There are more Liverpool fans than fans of League two clubs (both in England, internationally, and also in the catchment areas for League two clubs), and there's definitely more history within Liverpool than there is within the entirety of League 2. Let alone modern day status.
League 2 clubs can fairly comfortably be replaced by the conference, whereas the value of Liverpool to English football, in tradition, history, modern day status and finances is irreplaceable.

Blackburn have more Premier League's than you. Pipe down.
Which was won in 1995. DEFO counts as modern day status.
More modern day than Liverpool. If you were talking about modern day football then you'd refer to the Premier League era from 1992-present day.
Still you beat them 1-0 a few weeks ago so I guess you're winning. Besides you're modern status if we're talking about the incarnation of the Premier League amounts to 1 CL, 2 FA Cups, 4 League Cups (get you!), and a UEFA Cup. Blimey, didn't realise you lot did the treble.

Modern day football means football in 2015, not some Sky-defined arbitrary time scale set 23 years ago.
And in football in 2015, Liverpool are, by revenue, the 9th biggest club in World Football, by number of fans in the top 10, by the Forbes rich list we're 8th, and by worthwhile holistic study, we'd be in the top 10 clubs in the world...

Yes, but lower league fans are often much moe knowledgeable than your modern day 12 year old Liverpool fans from Southampton who have been to 2 Liverpool games in their life (one as a birthday present to Anfield the other when they played their local team) and constantly go on about trophies won before they were born....

The passive aggressiveness in this post was just perfection

And that means what exactly? Sweet f all. 99% of all football fans chat utter ****, regardless of club.

It's means I'd rather see Liverpool (or Arsenal for that matter), go bust over 24 League 2 teams, because whilst they may have a tenth of the fan base combined, they're fans are a hundred time better than your average bandwagon fan of a big team (as is shown on this thread on a daily basis)

People who support local teams or smaller teams are less likely to be glory supporters, fickle fans, or just choosing whatever was popular at the time. I guarantee you that the percentage of loyal fans for a team like Wycombe Wanderers or Luton is going to be far higher than the percentage of loyal fans for Chelsea, Arsenal, City, or United. As leinad said, I would rather 1 large team go bust than an entire league of lower teams (even my own team), although not quite for the exact same reason as him.

And if they went bust, there'd be other clubs for them to support. It's just a dumb myth anyway, going to games doesn't make you any better a fan. There's two championship and one league 2 club within 25 minutes of where I live and I can't say any of their fans are distinguishable from each other, or better than PL fans. Is an uneducated matchgoing thug really a more valuable fan to the footballing world than a day tripper?
