For a while I have claimed the left-wing is un-British. You only have to look at establishments like Sinn Fein, SNP, SDLP, Labour and the Guardian.

I have also commented how frequently lefties on TSR get extremely nasty when you show their naive ideas a pinch of reality.

So it really doesn't surprise me to see these immature ***** hurting police offices and vandalising WW2 memorials. After all, they aren't British, they are left-wing.

I'm hoping with the Tories in Government, Scotland getting independence OR EVEL preventing them from affecting England, we can soon get rid of left-wing politics.

ps why couldn't the police just shoot them with rubber bullets??

As a centre-right person who criticises both those on the left and those on the right - it's been my experience that those on the left are much more willing to engage in debate than those on the right. The only person who has told on TSR me to go **** myself and called me a ****ing **** has been a UKIP supporter

Could you please tell me which part of my post is based on the Daily Mail article?

The fact you even thought of using it to try and prove a point about the vandalism of the war memorial is rather pathetic. The protest was peaceful and democratic until the police intervened in the wrong way, and soon it became violent. This was bound to happen anyway, the pictures of the aggressive police do not lie.

But back to your point about left wing supporters, what makes them so bad and why would you want to get rid of any politics associated with it? Are you afraid it is growing too rapidly and so does not fit your 'view' of nationalism and right wing nonsense which will ultimately destroy any sense of humanity if not combated by an equal mix of right-wing parties

Oh so the protesters just happened to find smoke grenades on the streets of London? They didn't purposely bring them along?

Ah....... it was the English flag- it insulted you? I've heard lefties don't like seeing the England flag flown.....

Ahahaha I'm no leftie - it really shows the binary nature of the way you categorise people.

I like the English flag - it was more the bare-chested middle aged bloke with a swastika and Nazi salute that I was insulted by...
*sigh*... why vandalise WW2 graves... why do that? thats a piece of history and we should never destroy or vandalise something as sacred as that.

Seeing that video of Isis destroying all those ancient artifacts just made me die inside.... never understood why people take their anger out on things like that....

Where did I claim Orwell was right-wing/like me?

Just making sure you don't have any delusions.

I spend a lot of my time on the internet explaining to right wingers who use Orwell to prove why the left is evil that Orwell was in fact very left wing.

It;s become a hobby of mine.

You correct that Orwell didn't like a lot of the sneering of parasitism on the left though. Which does still exist today.

Is it? Go and look at my last few threads.....

The telegraph website has 20/articles per month and I cannot be bothered opening a different browser to circumnavigate.

The express website is horrible

The BBC has left-wing bias and purposely doesn't report certain news stories not fitting their agenda.

FT is subscription-only

I'm not a fan of the DM, I just knew they would have photos from this event.

Why wouldn't you subscribe to the FT? Worth every penny, no other market analysis like it without paying for the banks' flash notes, maybe Bloomberg. Plus How to Spend It is acers.

Anyway, my being British is defined by the fact I have British citizenship, and the passport to prove it. That I am also left wing is totally irrelevant.

Your going to look of the negatives of the protest - yes not everyone was peaceful, but I don't believe there is anywhere in which everything runs smoothly and someone doesn't goes too far? I blame the police for this, they provoked it, not the demonstrators. Don't believe every single thing your right wing media tells you, it is often far from the truth.

In society, is there really a need for such nationalistic and patriotic expression of views? The fact the flag is discouraged from being flown is because it creates an inequality in society. You wouldn't like it if someone began flying a flag singing their national anthem ect - it creates a negative stigma, hence why so few do it. I hate how english right wing always take it to the extreme! Be happy where you live, but don't go mad and start waving flags frantically - there is no need for it (ofc this is my opinion only, and people will disagree with me)

Absolutely - economically, UKIP supporters are much more left wing than they are socially. UKIP really is an example of horseshoe theory in action...

Well, I wouldn't call them that right wing on a lot of social issues, they've talked about decriminalising certain drugs and gun laws.

please do yourself a favour, you will not convince someone with such deeply politically entrenched views overnight, so stop feeding him/her ammo and boycott the moronic threads already.

it was a labour government that brought the NHS to life
TSR should continue the spring cleaning they began with the crazies on here.

FT is good, just I don't really fancy paying for a website.

I actually have respect for those who try to actually justify their views. You however, are the type who know they are beaten and try to attack the individual.

If something I have said is incorrect, feel free to point it out and why its incorrect?

and again, if you have a point, make it and back it up. Otherwise you just sound like somebody who doesn't like the truth being told.
