I have not, no. I don't deride uni's outside of Oxbridge. Hey, I'm applying to four of them, including Durham. I will hopefully be 'set for life' through working extremely hard and not giving up.

Grade inflation will probably make you useless in the UK.

I'd advise US Law colleges but that's not up to me.

What are the entry reqs like? I still have my heart set on Churchill College though.

I'd really be careful of being this confident. I am at a school similar to yours (fees same; but I'm on scholarship - not for financial reasons) and got 12A*s at GCSE. That's nothing really special. I applied for a course at Oxford (which is, admittedly, more competitive than Cambridge law) and got an interview but absolutely ****ed the interview up and didn't get in. I will be reapplying this year but it still hit me hard. Don't be cocky, because you can easily mess up and feel like a failure.

I think going over 60% is a bit extreme tbh. And even then I think 50% is a fair amount.

People shouldn't see their wages as what is stated though, that's never theirs. They should halve the salary they see as their personal spending money.

I feel jobs should advertise the salaries as half and then people receiving the full amount so they don't think of it as being theirs and then taken.

Same as Oxbridge but there's entry exam essays to revise your grade because UK examinations are deemed not hard enough. Knock 20 UMS marks per exam more or less for the Ivy League. It's difficult to transfer grades between US - UK.

How about around 98 UMS in 4 subjects at AS? Also, how difficult is Harvard to get in to?

For reasons of a possible future career in politics and the danger that people I know are on here, I'd rather not say where I go to school.

I got an interview at one of the larger colleges at Oxford for PPE. Acceptance is 13%, with 35% interview rate.

Anything further to the left than Labour are "socialists" to me.
Anything further to the left than SNP are "communists" to me.

I agree. The Greens are definitely communists as well.

I'd be a 'lefty' Tory, like Cameron is.

You seem to be more of a Monday Club Tory or UKIP - am I right?
