Iodine thiosulfate titration

When the oxidising agent is hydrogen peroxide I work out the ratio to be 1:1, however a book states that the ratio is 1:2.

What are the two half equations?

What are the two half equations?

H2O2 + 2I^- + 2H^+ --> I2 + 2H2O
2S2O3^2- + I2 --> 2I^- + S4O6^2-

Seems like a 1:1 ratio to me.

What (exactly) does the book say? Are you sure it doesn't say H2O2:I- = 1:2 ?

The ratio between H2O2 and S2O32- is indeed 1:1.
