Casual Sex/Meeting Strangers - Is it a good idea? Experiences anyone?

This may be offensive but i will keep the offensiveness to a minimum

Basically, i want to admit that I am not well mentally as i have depression and anxiety and that it has gotten worse due to the fact of my college course is getting worse, the unlikeliness of going to univeristy in this year and that the fact i can not face life that i am a loner and an introvert.

I want to start looking for sex with strangers as a AMA thread about an OP using escort for the weekend has influnced me to solve my depression temporarily. Because i'm such a loner, im asking you, TSR, on your experiences of using Casual sex or escorts or if you think this is a BAD idea.

I'm 19 if it helps

Why do people go on about things like 'casual sex' and one night stands as if it's some massive fuss that hardly happens in the real world?

You've made it seem too much of a big deal there for me to have any sympathy or take you seriously. It annoys me when people even consider making 'AMA' threads on the most unimportant and uninteresting things that have been covered already thousands of times.

i think i understand what you mean but i'm taking this view as point of mental health as my question is serious and I'm seriously considering this to calm myself.
Honestly, there's better ways to deal with depression than one night stands

Fair enough.

But IMO your priority should be doing your best to get yourself back on track and making yourself happy. Don't look to anyone other than yourself to make you happy.

If you think it'll help in the short term then go for it, but ideally you should be looking to improve your social skills, which I know is easier said then done but it's not impossible.

myth.

The reason why this is in my thought is because my porn addiction increased and my fantasies got more .... I just think it may help me. You don't know me in real life, I'm so miserable and boring and its the reason i'm not mentally well atm.

I thought of this today when i was doing my exam. I think is because i'm boring. I don't care anymore as its clear i'm a loner for life.

yeah at most i think itll help only in the short term.. in your one night stand or whatever youll probably feel fine but after youll go back to how you were and possibly worse if you regret it or theres any consequences. i personally dont think you should be using this to 'treat' any sort of mental health issues..

Have you tried joining any societies? You can always meet new people that way who won't know you're a loner...

Attend some socials, drink alcohol during drinking games and reinvent your personality.

I'm the person who made the AMA thread about using an escort. My advice to you would be to really think about it and make sure it is something you want to do. If you decide to do it then make sure you find someone you like the look of and who has good reviews before choosing them. Just make sure you know it may not help your mental health and there is a chance you may feel worse since you have paid for it but if you really want to do it then do it. My experience of it was great, the girl I had was amazing and really knew how to make you feel comfortable. So I say think about it first then if you still want to do it then go for it just make sure you use protection.

Societies, what societies? my college has nothing lol.

I did a music Project where i did make some friends and almost tried to have a friends with benefits with a girl there but she was in year 11.

I drink Alcohol most days when i go to college, does that count?

If i go university this september, the plan would be to reinvent myself and be more social. In fact i have already met a few people who will be going to the same uni as me in september so the outcome looks good. Whats stopping me is my college because of the social anxiety and the poor assignents and exams.
