That's factors that affect variation

Overall A, but on this paper I really want 52/60 which probably is an A*
I'm really excited for B1 :biggrin:DD
We've been doing it for like 3 years now and so I pretty much have the material memorised
Yeah, nitrogen cycle is definitely gonna come up I think
And the reflex arc (though I think that's normally only a four marker)

My personal predictions:

Q1) Genetic Variation in plants
Q2) Biomass
Q3) Parasitism/Mutualism linking in with Evolution
Q4) Reflex Arc/Neurones
Q5) Organ Transplants and Drugs
Q6) Carbon and/or Nitrogen Cycle

Oh god if they make us draw a period of biomass
I will cry
B1's probably my least favourite because it's the least interesting
I love P3 <3

I have to say I was surprised to see the mutualism 6 mark question today
But still killed it and gave 4 examples instead of 3
Neither the carbon or nitrogen cycles showed up :frown:
Exam was easy so grade boundaries are gonna be high

That exam was the easiest I have ever seen, expect grade boundaries of 54 for A* (no worries, I think I got 57 )
Absolutely smashed it
for mutualism I put - root nodules and nitrogen fixing bacteria, tube worms and chemosynthetic bacteria and crocodiles and birds
Only question that stumped me was cystic fibrosis and infertility???
Otherwise it was bloody easy
What was the answer to the percentage decrease question about the food chains?

What was the answer to the percentage decrease question about the food chains?

92%

What do you think the boundaries for a A will be? And what was the answer to the percentage decrease question about the food chains? And the one about the table and the pH of the lake?

92%

Good I was doubting myself and thing it was 8😅

Yeah many people got 8 but they were meant to take 8 away from a 100!

Percentage decrease = 92%
Grade Boundaries will be high so expect 45 for an A and 53 for an A*

Do you think you'll get a mark for 8, it was three marks? I put that:s-smilie:

Depends whether you showed any working out, you could get a mark for workings out
