Reverse: Sn = (a+(n-1)d) + (a+(n-2)d)...+(a+d) + a
Add: 2Sn = (2a+(n-1)d) + (2a+(n-1)d) ... +(2a+(n-1)d)
2Sn= n(2a+(n-1)d)
Sn=n/2(2a+(n-1)d)
I have done 3 papers today and I have got 59 on 2 of them and 62 on the other. It sucks because I keep losing silly marks because of lazy errors like forgetting to times something or the other. Hopefully I will feel better in the exam because I will have plenty of time to check my work.
You're given the series formulae in the formula book. Don't panic!
If I get an A in core 1 and a B in core 2 and mechanics, would I be able to come out with an A overall?

Providing you get the minimum UMS for a B of 70. Then you would need to get full UMS in Core 1.

Well say the ums was 80+80+50 that would be 210 which is a B
