Yeah I got that

could i of used completing the square, i got 5 root 3 or 2

i did use the quadratic to check my answer after which was correct but i thought since it was negative and the question was >0 that there was only one root ?
meaning the negative is just nothing?
or am i wrong?

I got this the first time, but went back at changed it. I think what you must have done is written -8 instead of +8 by accident, which gave 16, rather than 2. Don't worry, I expect it'll only be 1 mark :-)

1 mark could change my life.

I think this is wrong, did you do 12/2( 17k x 2 (11)1500) + 9(32k)??

erm lots of people are saying different things for this so im not sure im right, but i did 12x32000 as they earnt the max for 12 years + 4(34000 +7x1500) gave me a number around 500000
(edited 8 years ago)
I got £625000 too

That could be a bit dramatic  Just make sure you check over all your answers carefully in C2, and by doing that you will probably pick up a mark, evening it all out.

I did 9x32000 because if you think logically:
17000
18500
20000
21500
23000
24500
26000
28500
29000
30500
32000 Which is 11 years
She reached her maximum salary of £32,000 in year 11. She works for 20 years.

I did:

[Sum to 11 of the arithmetic series] + 9 x £32,000 which gave around £575,000
fml
that was HARD FAM
omg:frown:(((((
