Yeah there is! Sorry I missed that, thank you!

I'm pretty sure there's more problems than just being unsafe like cost as well. Are there any more problems?

I want the haber process for a 6 mark, nice and easy. It was a 4/5 mark on last years test so fingers crossed, AQA tend to move 4/5 marks into 6 marks.

Is that for unit 2 or 3??

Not sure about unit 3, but it can definitely come up in unit 2

The Haber Process is Unit 3, not Unit 2

Yeah I think I mentioned the cost of the plant would be too high, but also a lot of energy is required to provide high pressures, so that in itself is expensive too!

For unit 3 chemistry, I think the 6 mark questions could be on hard water or it may be on describe how to do all ion tests or maybe a titration experiment

Also, can anyone post key points about the period table from Newlands and Mendeleev please?

Possible six marker for c6 - compare differences between thermosoftening and thermosetting polymers?? Or how to make salts

When you say salts, do you mean like forming crystals after the salt is made?

I find emperical formulas confusing can anyone help? Also anyone got predictions for c3?

1) Find the Ar's for the elements involved
2) Divide each mass/percentage by the Ar of its element
3)Divide each answer by the smallest answer that you just got
4)Put them into the correct formula (i.e if you had 2 iron and 3 oxygen, the formula would be Fe203).

Hope this helped! If you're struggling just tell me which part you don't understand and I'll message you back
Has anyone got any good tips/acronyms/ways of remembering the ion tests?

Hi would anyone be able to explain to me how to do this question from the June 2013 C2 paper?

Write the formula of ammonium sulfate using the ion formulas on the data sheet.

The answer is (NH4)2SO4 but I can't work out how to get to that! Thank you!
Nah don't think so
