Considering ISIS have claimed responsibility for attacks in the USA I think it is highly improbable that they would then train them.
When America/UK etc. left Iraq, they also left the Iraqi army lots of their vehicles. Due to no post-invasion plan Iraq went to the dogs and now ISIS have gained control of many old American vehicles.

So how do you explain American armoured vehicles flying ISIS flags?

What?? Where did this come from?? America and other Western countries have equipped moderate rebel forces and some Kurds with equipment to help in the fight against ISIS, I haven't heard anything about them equipping Al Qaeda rebels. The closest thing I've read is Turkey and Saudi Arabia backing Al Qaeda affiliated rebels in Syria.

Read what you're going to post fully before coming up with claims like that.

Jabhat al Nusra are one rebel group (albeit a big one) that are seen as terrorists by the UN, USA, UK etc. Equipment is not being supplied to these extreme rebel groups.

The article also says this:
"This illustrates the need for American leadership in the Syrian conflict, particularly with regard to helping non-Qaeda-aligned rebels contain the growth of (al Nusra) and similar groups,"
Suggesting America will equip moderate rebel forces to help fight ISIS/Al-Qaeda forces.

You know there once was something called the Iraqi army. It was badly trained poorly led and demoralised. But very well equipped with American weaponry. This army tried to fight ISIS, failed and abandoned tons of equipment on the battlefield. ISIS picked up this equipment as well as others it looted from bases in thr territory it took.

I think this makes more sense than a bizarre conspiracy theory. America has spent over a billion dollars fighting ISIS, you think they'd be equipping them?

Also al qaeda was never trained by the cia.
