If Arsene Wenger is a specialist in failure then Gerrard definitely has to be. Guy has been frauding it hard and has been past it since 2009, besides a good spell in the second half of 13/14 he's been played for sentimentality reasons like with Casillas at Real Madrid.

Gerrard has won 1 trophy since 2006 and that was the league cup, he has not provided in the key moments either.

Fact is that Gerrard would not get close to the amount of games he would get at Liverpool if he was at any of the clubs above him in the premier league table.

At international level he's not been any better, was an absolute liability during this world cup and was partially responsible for the Suarez goal.

Hey you dkhead he didn't fail completely. He won european cup.

Lol he's been a failure since about 2006.

Wenger's another specialist in failure but at least he's going to have 2 FA cups in the past 2 years.
also lol at the Chelsea fans in denial over the fact Mourinho didnt head to CFC because he was sacked/rejected and Fergie passed him over. Jose wanted Utd, still does.

Only thing worse than Jose, an absolute scumbag, is a rejected Jose.

Yea so Jose Mourinho after inheriting a squad worth god knows how mouch, then he goes and spends god knows how much.

So he wins nothing and gets ran out of town.

Meanwhile Mr.Wenger builds up a side, whilst losing players every season...wins more in Jose's first season back in England(btw only spent £100m).

So Jose calls Wenger a ''specialist in failure''. Actually, Jose is just a ''specialist in inheriting and spending''

Jose hates Wenger because he's a decent man, and because Jose isn't.

Wenger isn't a specialist in failure anymore tbf, he's going to end up with 2 FA cups in 2 years which ain't too shabby. Better than every team bar Chelsea anyway.

Gerrard however definitely is.
You should probably save time writing pointless threads and actually come up with more than 2 chants for you and your plastic fans. If you can actually use that extra chromosome in your brain to do so it would be a good use of your pointless existence imo

Lol yh I know that. Dgaf about Jose he's another dislikeable prick who just happens to be our manager and a damn good one at that.

Specialist in failure has a good ring to it, dw it's always good to be no.2 means less people hate you.

Shh no tears only dreams now
Specialist in failure but he's constantly played around mediocre players and manages to drag them out the dirt to actually achieve something? Okay.

He's the last of a dying breed in which loyalty actually means something and you can't put a price on that, once Terry retires/leaves that is it.

Aka he's just another matt le tissier.

Terry stayed also cos he's a winner and has a winner mentality, Gerrard stayed because he wanted to carry on dragging liverpool down in the dirt. He's been a liability for years and this season he's finally been found out.

No, you are missing the point. Terry stayed because anywhere else would have been a step down, Gerrard could have moved to Chelsea/Real etc and they would have been step ups.
Just focus on your own team, instead of trying to slander other players.

Not much to focus on my team, season was over for us around march so I've just been a voyeur looking at other players from other teams.
So, Gerrard is a specialist in failure?

From wiki:

The only thing missing is the Premier League, but honestly, that doesn't make him a specialist in failure. The fact that his body has started to fail him, doesn't make him a choker.

It's the little things. To have a chance of winning trophies, everything has to go perfect. When his team needed him the most, Gerrard was there.

So, he wasn't voted man of the match in the greatest ever Champions League final? He didn't smack the ball in the net to spark the revivial? He wasn't brought down for the crucial penalty? He didn't double down and defend, despite cramping up? Steven Gerrard, once again, came up CLUTCH.

So he didn't take the FA Cup final by the scruff of the neck and hammer in a 30 yard volley? 90th minute, entering stoppage time, legs cramping all over over with the heat....and he came up BIG TIME in the clutch.

It really sucks that Gerrard is leaving Liverpool. He's been the heart and soul of the club for so long, and if Kenny Dalglish is the best ever player to have pulled on the red shirt, Steven Gerrard is a close second.

Personally, now isn't the time to debate legacies. Stevie's record speaks for itself. The goals. The highs, and yes, even the lows. He's hands down, the best all-round centre-midfielder to have ever played for England, Liverpool, and in the Premier League. Nobody will change my view on that.

For the record, Wenger didn't deserve the 'specialist in failure' tag by Mourinho. He had a dry run, but in their Premier League careers Wenger hasn't had the resources and has done more with less. Gerrard hadn't had the supporting cast around him, to the extent of those at Chelsea. Furthermore, if Gerrard was suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch a 'specialist in failure,' I doubt Mourinho would have tried to sign him at every club he's been at.

As for the world cup, the entire team was bad. As for his international career, he was moved around a lot. In 2010, and 2006, he was one of England's better players.

Gerrard's had a lot of injuries, and that's because of his "give 120%" attitude, but when he's been on the pitch for Liverpool, he has contributed. He had to be moved further back into the midfield, and did very well in the 'Pirlo-holding position.' The team around him though...well, even though Gerrard was in his prime, from 2009, the supporting cast was abysmal. The offseason struggles and mismanagement of the club were to blame. Stevie could have packed his bags and moved, but he stayed. He'll always be a winner in my book.

You call Wenger a decent man but really he should've been charged with assault for that push on Jose at SB, and I'm not even kidding. Ridiculous.

Frank Lampard age 34 = Captained Chelsea to CL success
Ryan Giggs age 34 = Scored the goal to seal the PL title for United & scored a penalty to help United win the CL
Paul Scholes age 34 = Scored the winning goal against the best club side ever to seal United's place in a CL final and won the PL
Steven Gerrard age 34 = Running off to the MLS like a mercenary after an embarrassing season.

Wouldn't put Gerrard in the top 5 Premier League mids never mind the top 1.

But Gerrard in the CL final tho. Forget everything else. Base his entire footballing career on that one game:rolleyes:
Didn't Wenger have an affair? And yet he's more of a man than Mourinho??#Arsenalfanlogic #salty
