Not exactly memories for me! (although I'm pretty sure that all came in with office 97, albeit a bit grainy). Simpler times though, no stupid slidey things or tablety things that don't make sense, Just a nice simple START MENU!!!!
Still, I can't exactly say I miss dialup!

Well, it made cool noises, but it was bloody slow, and it tied up the phones for ages (and someone would always pick up the phone when you were online). Whereas now I can download gigabytes worth of data in seconds for next to nothing!

My mother would have never agreed to us having internet access at home if it interfered with the phone, so that's a definite plus point for broadband. :p:
tbh our dog just chewed through the phoneline, we haven't had a phone in weeks, but everyone just uses their mobiles now. How times change.
