I got that too

high 5!! btw I love Guilty Crown too :love::love:
How many marks was the part where you had to show the minimus cost. I think that's the only mark I'll lose out

How did you get that?

quadratic formula
Let's all focus on s1 or m1. Hopefully it will be good!!!!!!!!

Trig sucks
Original post by prepdream
Same. Just that I didn't take 3 put of the bracket. Feeling regret a little bit now :frown:

I put (2x+1)(3x-24)(x+6) or something to that effect

God I hate factorising polynomials like that.
Reply 2046
(2x-1)(3x+12)(x-4) exactly what i got...

lol.. dnt get upset cos u probs got aqbout 2/75 and revised for 8 hours a day past 367 days a year... o didmt reviise once mate. just a mathmatic genius. didnt revise once... lol

Actually he's a teacher who makes ridiculously hard practice papers so I'd stop bragging if I were you

Well, I was doing that as a retake and thought that it was awful. Oh dear.

what did people get for question 9?? as the cost? That exam was terrible and C1 was so good :frown:

£480something? I cant really remember, I remember it being in the 400s
Was n not 27 because it was n < 27.....? 😕

Hi there, I got to the point of forming the quadratic using the identities but then I didnt solve it correctly, do you think I would get 2/3 or only 1/3 for forming the quadratic (I completed the square instead of formula lol)

you'd get 2/3 if you got to the quadratic stage
Original post by geestarraw
you sure? unless i did a seperate exam there were 11 questions in the C2 exam:arsenal::arsenal:

did you do AQA or OCR?
Original post by 12345678zzz
 checked with my friends and decide to put these down before I forget... :llama:

- a= -48, b = -96 (might have mixed them up, can't remember)
- Factorise f(x) = 3(2x+1)(x-4)(x+4)
- common ratio: 8/9, first term = 18, n = 28
- Area of graph = 226 sq. units
- Perimeter = 40.9 cm; Area = 96.7 cm^2
- the minimum cost for the cylinder is 483 pounds
- Angles from tan: pi/9, 4pi/9, 7pi/9; angles from cos: 0. 139, 221 (3 s.f.)

Hope they are correct! Waiting for Arsey's unofficial mark scheme though hahahaaa

:bump::bump::bump:
can somebody check with me?

No
If you arent sure you can substitute 27 or 28 in and only 28 gave a value greater than 290

how to do 9a?
Original post by MJS107
How do you do that sequences question??

Eek sorry didn't answer yor question properly.
Calculate S2 and S infinity and divide them and you get r^2=64/81.
The second one is quite complicated so I will probably write it down later for you.
Do you remember the exact question?
Original post by prepdream
I wrote (6X+3) so pretty much the same
Some one just told that it would cost only 1 mark so don't worry.

But it is correct so we shouldn't lose any marks.
