Does anyone know how many marks the last part of question 8 was? (where you use k=3), and how many marks was that whole question?
When is the unofficial mark scheme up?

I got that but why is the question is specifying y>11/3?

3/11 you mean? and 1/3 is greater than 3/11 lol

yes, good luck! how did you find C1 and C2?
Original post by RJM1997
how come?

The conditions for an a* are:
- 80% average across AS and A2 combined
- 90% average across C3 and C4

So as long as you get an A in C2 getting higher won't per se help you get an A* unless C1 or applied went quite badly.

Need 90% average in c3/c4 for an A*. Along with 480/600 UMS overall.

Do you not need 80 UMS in C1 and C2?
LOG QUESTION ANSWERS:

Q5) geometric one, n=28
Q7) parta) 0.264 ( 3sf)
partb) y=1/3 or 3/2
****ed up so bad. Had the right answers and I changed them. AQA bent me over and shoved a potato up my butt yesterday and now this. **** edexcel, **** life.
