For P(DUT) why is this not P(D) + P(T) - P(D n T)?
I worked it out using the table but cant do it this way?

As far as I can see that is the propability where D (detached house) or T (two children) happens AWAY FROM other propabilities, so its just:

P(DUT) = P(D) + P(T)
