oh god, i was really confused which way round it meant, like an increase from older to younger, or younger to older


It was just a pointless question, like the answers for that question required like no biological knowledge. It was just how well you could interpret data, which is stupid and unfair to everyone who has spent hours revising the whole bloody course. OCR getting lazy at the end of the spec!

3)calcium ion channels open, calcium ions diffuses into cell
4) calcium ions cause vesicles packed with insulin to fuse with the cell surface membrane, insulin leaves the cell by a process called exocytosis

Anyone know why that sugar was added with the fluid, and why peritoneal dialysis has to be done more often?

In my working i had something like 93.39 then wrote 93.4 , did they specify dp places?? But in that column they had 3 sf so i just put that. Otherwise it shouldnt matter if they didnt specify it..

Definitely E because:

1. Higher rate of photosynthesis at lower light intensities
2. Photosynthesis begins at a lower light intensity than in species D

So that the water potential of the fluid and blood was similar. If you had just water, it would flow down its water potential gradient by osmosis into the blood as the blood will have a lower WP. This would lead to high blood pressure and could damage arteries and blood cells. That's what I put

I put error bars. Apparently it's error bars but I'm not too sure if there will be lots of different answers that are acceptable for it.

i put e because light reached the saturation point faster for light, something like that
