got the inversely proportional bit wrong.... fml i did -k instead of 1/k or whatever so.... method marks possibly?

Does anyone know what the vectors question was and how to answer it? Completely messed up the last two parts of it which were 4 marks each

I couldn't do 9c the trig ratio didn't work. Did anyone get it?

For the h(x) one, I did: h(x) = 1/2x-3; h'(x)=-2/(2x-3)^2

Then some drivel about how x is negative, (2x-3)^2 is positive so -2/(2x-3)^2 is negative
and the same for positive
so therefore it's decreasing.

Yes easy. A lot of people in here found it 'easy' but up and down the country it will be a problem from Q6 onwards.

No, that's correct. You substituted in t = 0 and x = 0 for C =1.

For last part of question 3, the decreasing funtion h(x), i differentiated it to 1/(2x-3) , but what did we have to do after that??
I subbed in 3 and said it was >0 so its decreasing,but it was just a guess :frown:

I differentated it to 1/2*ln(2x-3) which gave it as increasing so i just subbed in 3 and 4 to h(x) and this showed it was decreasing
