I put D for that one. I think that's wrong though. It was probably the annihilation one.

Alright paper. Could have been better but could also have been a lot worse.

What did we get for the tension? I got about 41° and something like 0.03N.

Yes! I got the same. For T I got 0.035 N.

yeah i just remember putting 7s, dont remember what decimal points, 7.08 sounds like what i put!


Ah k awesome :smile: At first I used ln0.8 and got a time less than the time constant and I was so confused phew I changed it!

I got that the time for half the energy was greater than the time for half the charge.

I found it quite easy.

Quick tally at the end and I gave myself ~69/80

I wrote less.

Because E=1/2 Q2/C and C is constant
Hence E = kQ2
for E become 1/2 E
Q need to become 1/√2 Q
1/√2 0.7
Q reaches 0.7Q0 before reaching 0.5Q0
So the time is less

I got 4.4s for RC (losing 67% of charge) and 1.1s for losing half the energy

Hence losing half the energy takes less time
I got 3s for the roundabout, and that mass didn't change it, anyone? Can someone explain that one asking for the capacitor time to lose half energy and half its charge? That was the only one I was unsure of

I got 0.5075s but my friends got around 3s so i think i went wrong somewhere
