yeah i know that. But they have levels like G1,2,3 and 4. (increasing difficulty) and its probably the best source of practice because they are mixed up questions from old and new papers

If x= -100000 for example, y = 0

It is 3^x squared times e^x cubed not plus.

It looks like you've used the product rule there. If it's (e^x)^3, then by the chain rule that would be 3(e^x)^2 * e^x, or 3(e^x)^3. That's differentiating the function of the function and multiplying by the differential of the thing inside the brackets.

It's tiny, but not 0. if e^-x = 0, then ln(-x) = ln(0) = math error, so I guess e^-x can't be 0.

does anyone have some good notes or sources for drawing ln and e power x graphs and their translations respectively? including finding the domain and range

I know the answer what I dont get is when we do modulus equations and we draw the graph and for example in this case the negative part of one graph the |x| - a graph crosses the postitive part of the other graph 3x + 5a

What I would normally do in this case is to put a negative in front of the equation underlining the negative part ie

-(x - a) = 3x + 5a
---> -x + a = 3x + 5a


The markscheme says its just -x - a = 3x + 5a etc I dont know why

Reflect everything to the right of the y axis into the Y axis

So all the positive values for x. reflect them into the y axis. So everything on the right side of the line x=0 would be a reflection of the left side
can anyone help me on question 13 b) jan 2015 why does the cos(30t+16.7) have to equal to -1 when it is asking for the max value ?
