Is there a quicker foolproof way of working all the solutions to a trigonometric equation?
eg, for tan, you just keep adding 180 degrees
I know for sin, you can take the value away from 180 and get another solution
?????????????????????????

I haven't written this down because I'm bed but try this:

Differentiate f(x) and equate it to a (the gradient if g(x)). Then find the value of x.

Then equate f(x) to g(x) and rearrange to get a quadratic. Then plug in the x value from before and then rearrange for k in terms of a?

Hi does anyone know when the graph is shifting to the right and left or up and down? For example, for normal equations like 3x, does it means stretch up and down by a factor of 3?
Also can somebody help me with this 6c on 2014(r). I don't understand why 2x doesnt get why isnt 2x squared?
Thanks
