If the answer is right do they give full marks for the question
Or do they go through finding each method mark?

depend on how thorough/fast the marker is ...

if the answer is practically impossible to obtain by luck and/or incorrect workings, they will probably skim through.

if the answer is given (like in a "show"), then it would be marked step by step, and marker must be "convinced"

Guys can someone help me out please? I just wanted to know what I need on C4 for an overall A.

I got 249 UMS in AS
61 raw marks in D1 (2015)
61 raw marks in C3 (2015)
(Based on Arseys answers)

around 60/75 should do it fairly comfortably

Hey  For question 5b I made the silly error of not flipping the gradient, and so continued with 24pi, how many works do you think I would get out of the 6, presuming the rest of the working was correct?

Thanks

3/out of 6 is probably about the right outcome
(it all depends on the marking scheme)

Same with me. I did Q9 in the last 5 minutes because I thought C3 only had 8 questions.

Nope, many-to-one. Several x values match up to one y value. If it was one to many it wouldn't be a function.

Can you not say because it not a one to one? Other markschemes have said that

Hey guys
So for 8(b) I screwed up and thought it was so my final answers are divided by two. How many marks would I lose?

Paper was definitely challenging but doable idk

I did the same :s-smilie: I did the proof in 8a without any problems but then copied it wrong in 8b  and used instead θ.
I'm expecting 0 marks for 8b.

Yes you can
what would 55 or 56 be? anyone?
From the unofficial mark scheme I reckon I got 67 or 68 out of 75.

What wil I need in C4 on Tuesday for an A* in maths now?
Is there an unofficial markscheme for all the qs on this thread?

High B most likely. Possibly an A if we're really lucky...
Thanks
