are these generally considered easier than STEP 1? I just did Q1, I found it a bit too easy to be for STEP 1, but just interesting enough to keep it worthwhile to do. (A STEP 1 question tends to take me ~45 minutes but Q1 on this paper took me about 20-25.)

How long did you actually have to do one of these in the past?

I wish I found this thread sooner. I've been twiddling my thumbs, not having any more STEP prep to do for quite a while now. Now I've got STEP 1 on Monday.

were these papers taken year (14) students? (as in year 13 then went out of a school for a year before uni)
