Has arsey uploaded yet? Also is arsey'is name actually arsey? And who is Arsey?

To Mr and Mrs y, a son, Arse.

Has arcey put up a solution yet?

How many marks do you think I would lose if:

1) I forgot to times the binomial expansion by 2, but for the last part I got the correct value for p and q

2) I got k=2 and so the final area halved.

3) found the time when P=4 (not 4000) in degrees not radians

4) thought 3^x all squared is 3^2x and so the final answer.

Average of 84.4 UMS per paper, which would be an A. So yes, it is indeed very possible.

forgot to mention approx 50 in d1
Are we assuming the current mark schemes are correct? Really need a flipping A* in maths.
C1 - 79 UMS
C2 - 80 UMS
C3 - 54/75
C4 - 51/75
S1 - 78 UMS
D1 - 62 UMS

Grade?

You're missing a unit.

approx 50/75 in d1

C :/

have a feeling you absolutely flunked this paper and are now taking it out on tsr users.

LOL

Well that seems convoluted. It may have gotten the right answer, but you could have just used 9? Via the y coordinate of P:smile:

I know I realised in the end I couldve used 9. I know I got the wrong answer though. How many marks do you think I'll lose for not getting a correct cone volume and so not the correct answer ?! :/

How accurately can you predict what grade you'll get in maths?
After looking at the papers that everyone and arsey have uploaded, I've been able to give myself a certain ums, but I'm not sure if it's completely accurate (I know how the mark scheme works so I gave myself a method mark where I thought I would get one)..

nobody can be certain...
Gonna miss my offer:frown:

He has not, Arsey is a prophet of the maths kingdom. His real name shall be found scribed into dragon fire scored volcanic rock near the edexcel HQ.

Guys :
100ums in C1, C2,
97 in S1
approx 85 in c3
40 in c4

Is an A possible

You need to get At least 58 Ums in another module to be able to get an A, because 480/600 is needed, and the ones you posted sum to 422.
Maybe in S2 or M1, depending on which one you did.

Possibly 4 or 5 for the first 3. I think you're correct on 4.

(3^x)^2 = (3)^2x = (3^2)^x = (9)^x

c3- 67
c4- 64
any chance of a*?

the predicted grade boundary was 64 in C3 for a 90ums, and maybe wait for the c4 prediction but its usually around 67/68 for 90ums, so yeah you do have a chance so good luck on results day

Just about an A I'm assuming.

Well into a B

If I got 63 on this paper, and 70 on C3, would I have an A* overall

Well my teacher told me you have to get at least 180 UMS in C3 nd C4 combined to get A*.. so it depends on ur UMS more...
For the last question integrated between 0 and 2 and got 40pi/ln3 but ran out of time to use the cone formula etc and minus that from the 40pi/ln3. how many marks etc do you reckon???
