forgot to mention approx 50 in d1

432 UMS; I'm sorry but the A cut is around 480.
c1- 82 ums
c2- 88 ums
s1- 74 ums
d1- 90 ums

c3- 48/75 raw
c4- 60/75 raw

is there still a chance for A?

The radius was the y coordinate of P. So no, you're method is incorrect. I'm sorry.

how many marks would I lose do you think. Wrong cone volume value and thus wrong final volume

I know I realised in the end I couldve used 9. I know I got the wrong answer though. How many marks do you think I'll lose for not getting a correct cone volume and so not the correct answer ?! :/

uft, wow, not sure I'm the right person to ask this but I imagine just one or 2 accuracy marks? That's if you got the right integral and found the area of a cone and subtracted it?

It's not around 480, it is 480.

I suspect around 3 or 4 lost marks.
How many marks do you reckon I've lost if
Didn't do the 3 mark shortest distance on the vectors one
Showed all my working but put 4000 for the population and therefore didn't finish
The second volume of revolution part was completely wrong but showed how you would do it with diagram and correctly integrated.
Please help :frown: I need to get a B in this to even out to an A overall
throw in some #arseyfacts whilst waiting for the ms...here's one

Arsey won the Tour De France...in Scotland #arseyfacts
I can feel arsey is close

I believe 480 was last year's cut; they fluctuate.
Looking at around 67/68 for C4 I think and 69/70 on C3, what are the chances of this being an A*?

so 100,100,97
aprox 85 c3
30/75 c4 raw marks
50/75 d1 raw
not enough
What grade would you say 45 raw mark would be?

I bet you can...

What's the bets Arsey's sitting there thinking, why the **** is the answer "Math Error" then after 10 minutes he reads the question again lol.

Exactly the same as what I did xD
LOOOL i am such a foking lolka !!!

in 3b, i just did not read the question properly and basically substituted limits for what i have found in part a and got 32ln2 - 12

for question 7c, i was not sure whether to write 0.4.. or 27.1 and wrote both saying that this is what u get if u use radians and this is what u get when u use degrees

for 8c, i found the volume of the whole thing, but ****ed up the second bit

how many marks u reckon i will lose for each one?

cheers guys

I'll assume 5 to be on the safe side lol sigh thanks anyway!!!

You'll probably just scrape that A* pal

C1 - 79 UMS
C2 - 80 UMS
C3 - 54/75
C4 - 51/75
S1 - 78 UMS
D1 - 62 UMS

Grade?

80 + 79 + 72 + 68 + 78 + 62/600 = 439/600 73% so a B
