Can someone give a clear explanation of restriction mapping? Can't seem to get my head around it and didn't find the textbook to be helpful at all :frown:
Im just waiting to get a really stupid essay that no one could plan for =p
how often does dna sequencing/fingerprinting come up? revised everything besides that, completely forgot about those notes till yday *oops*

Has anyone got a sample essay / essay plan on PROTEINS?

hormones
muscles
structure of proteins
transport
enzymes
protein synthesis
Anyone know a good way to remember the difference between rod cells and cone cells? realllly struggling....
For an essay on biomolecules, what could you talk about?
Could someone give a brief overview of the cell cycle please?

exactly how I'm feeling rn:frown:

What are we going to do :frown:
Do you think there is a good chance of one of the following essays coming up? These are the only ones I have prepared anything for - limited time...

- Cycles
- CO2
- Enzymes
- Proteins
- ATP
- Ions

Surely there is a fair chance of one of those coming up :K::K:

Is it a bad sign that I don't even know what a biomolecule is?

Doubt cycles and CO2 will come up as theyve appeared before, think theres a strong chance inorganic ions or something to do with molecules such as proteins fats and carbs will come up.

Thank you!
If you go in depth for some of them more than others eg ATP since there's lots to write about would that be okay? eg: like 3 paras all about ATP, talking about photosynthesis, respiration or muscles contraction etc?

ive focused on ions, proteins, atp, co2 and then planned others for cycles, causes of disease, relationships and shapes
i think we just need to hope theres something given where the question isnt misleading now
Can someone please explain to me how DNA sequencing (Sanger method), can work out the exact order of bases in a section of DNA? Thank you!
