First question, was the answer interphase and cytokinesis or telophase??
Also wb similarities of cell signalling in plants and animals

I put metaphase and anaphase, no idea if it was correct
what did people put for the damage to the brain one? the parts of the brain
I put interphase and telophase

Is everyone mad, it's the single most worst exam ive ever seen, awful

I just wanted to get up and leave the room. It's like I wasted my time revising for it

I put interphase then telophase/cytokinesis?

- both use hormones as messenger molecules
- hormones bind to receptors on target cells/tissues in both
Where is the petition???? Im not even trolling :frown: so angry with myself and ocr

but it said in the question that both use hormones no?

lool I couldn't think of one answer :9
what did people put for the estimating energy flow question?

Wasn't it cerebrum (Broca's area to be specific)
and cerebellum.
Loss of neurones.
Cerebellum cannot control movement due to loss of neurones.
I am not sure if these are correct, though.
please someone correct me

I said both use a transport medium and both bind to receptors on the cell surface membrane
It went downhill from the first question. I don't even know how to describe the paper. It was never ending and each question got even more stupid and un-doable.

I said both have long term responses and both combine to receptor sites
What did you lot put for the question on the plant moving towards the light and the girl covering her eyes with her face? I started talking about phototropin 1&2 enzymes, and the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervoud divisions

I wasn't electrophoresis it was about fluorescent markers creating different wavelengths as the sequence is stopped meaning there is variation in size

exactly what i was thinking

below that I wrote hormones are produced & released in cells/tissues of both

hoping to scrape some marks
did anybody write geographical isolation (i.e allopatric speciation) for one of the question, and
Genetic drift for the very next question?

Agree far too many obscure apply questions that needed as knowledge.

Main thing was the obscure nature of the questions.
For brain question I said cerebrum, cerebellum and medulla oblongata, because that reduces blood flow of oxygenated blood therefore less oxygen so less respiration so rest of body paralysed
