How is the oestrogen cycle relivent to the question? Sorry for being dim, I think there are two ways of interpreting it
1) humans (within their own functioning)
2) how other organisms benefit humans

no it gave the function on the left and asked for the molecule for that function
joins to Z line = actin
breaks down atp = water
covers binding site = tropomyosin

For 10a I wrote that testicles hang lower when warm and tight when cold, I mentioned sperm production... would that be ok for stuff out of the syllabus?

that's what i'm saying it was quite ambiguous because ATPase is involved with the breakdown of water.. but doesn't actually do it aha
but then again an enzyme isn't a molecule it's a protein and the question definitely said molecule
who knows who knows

you should be fine with atpase but i put water for simplicity.
Is there an unofficial mark scheme any where?
Same I'm not a high achiever either, I wrote very similar to you:
Taxis and kinesis
Arc reflex
Survival response
Homeostasis
And immune response (from as level)

You should get full for breadth just depends on what detail you included and if you evaluated the importance fully :smile:

Was the paper we did a rewritten one? The course code said BIOL5R so I'm thinking that someone found the paper so they had to re do it? Either way, I think it went quite well! :smile: 👍🏻
What did people put for the monoclonal antibody question?

I couldn't decide whether the antibody binded to the growth factor or the receptor site.
In the end I put, the antibody binds to the growth factor, meaning it is the wrong shape so is no longer complementary with the receptor so cannot bind.

I know some people put that the antibody binds to the receptor so that blocks the growth factor from binding.

In the end I thought that an antibody is shaped more like a receptor than a growth factor, meaning it would be complementary to the growth factor so attached to that.

Yes the aqa van got stolen and the papers ended up all over the place
Water is a molecule so I think that's true! Because atpase ss isn't a molecule

An enzyme is a molecule :')
Actin and tropomyosin are proteins too, a protein is just a macromolecule
