Surely you would add 1 to 2.57 AU? The max distance is going to be when the earth and asteroid are aligned and at either side of the sun?

For the density question was it just Au/volume of nuclear using the radias we calculates???
for density did anyone get 1.63*10^17?
How many raw marks for full ums do you think? (Thermal+astro combined)
What is it usually??
Guys what was the range of
- Alpha
- Beta
radiation?

I wrote 0.1 to 1m for alpha and 10-15m for beta had no idea :frown:

Yep you add the distances because maximum distance is when earth is on opposite side of the vestra(?) asteroid.
Something like 3.57AU

How do you know that ever happens? You're not told that. maybe earth and the asteroid are always at right angles to the Sun.
