REVISED BOUNDARIES AFTER DOING SOLUTIONS TO THESE PAPERS

these are my C3 EDEXCEL estimates

69-70 …. 100UMS
64-65 …. 90 UMS
57-58 …. 80 UMS
51-52 .… 70 UMS

these are my C4 EDEXCEL estimates

71-72.........100UMS
65-66.........90UMS
59-60.........80UMS
52-54.........70 UMS

incidentally to blow my own trumpet ...
look at Q8 of this years C4 paper
look at Q8 of C4, IYGB, paper N

then look at Q10 of the C34, IAL June 2015
then look at Q8 of IYGB paper V

56 days to results ...

very likely so long as your total of 6 modules is at least 480

I need 60ums each in c3/c4 for an A overall not worried about reaching 480.

Just was worried seeing as C3 didn't go as i'd planned. Low 60's was my feeling for c3 but c4 was high 60's, hence got worried whether i'd made the cut for an A*. :frown: :frown:

Predicting is not exact science so there are errors...
However it will be very close... more likely to be than not to be on those raw marks.

Summer Further Maths goal

I plan on self-teaching myself all of FP1. I would like to know how long roughly would it take me to finish the entire module
if I was to study every other day during the summer. How many hours of self-teaching would FP1 take? Is FP1 harder than C4
or is the jump smaller?

Also, I was printing further maths papers and came across a question stating to "use induction". I didn't get a clear look at the question but just wondering if someone who does FP2-3 expand on what induction is used for and what topic in maths i.e calculus/vectors etc is it used for.
