I know, only realised after i seen what my mates living on at uni. Do u know where tescos is in cambridge?
There's one on Newmarket Road, one in Milton and one out at Fulbourn. There are a couple of smaller ones closer into town, I think. Most students are lazy and go to Sidney Sainsbury's.

There're also a couple of co-op and an Aldi, too, all of them just outside the town centre, but as Helenia said most students shop at Sainsbury opposit Sid. Also, there're several very good green grocers in the market on Market Square. Much better quality than any supermarkets in town and not much more expensive. Good food vans there too for your lunch.

How did you find out the percentage of people that miss their offers for your subject?
To be fair, with the amount of difficulty and hassle there is to get a Cambridge offer, the vast, vast majority of people aren't going to give that up. Early deadline means you have to commit to it early

Youd be surprised actually, I know one girl in the year above who turned down a Cambridge offer and then 2 in my year, seeing as my school get about 5 Cambridge offers per year thats quite a high percentage, so I whilst its not the norm I don't think its that unusual to choose to go somewhere else
