The way how I like to think it is that the volume integral wouldn't depend on time (in a fluids sense anyway)

...but the density of the fluid is a function of time so how would the volume integral not depend on time?

Because whilst the density is a function of time, you're you're integrating with respects to time.

As an example, make ρ=t\rho = t and integrate in a one-dimensional volume. What do you get each time?

I'm an applied mathmo so thinking from a physical scene

PRSOM well done

(PRSOM also) Thank you
Congrats to all those about to graduate! For those who may not be sure about the type of work they want to go into, or unsure on what they want from an employer, completing my dissertation questionnaire may actually help you (as well as being a massive help to me, obviously)!
I would really appreciate it if any undergraduate students graduating this year could take 5 minutes to fill in this questionnaire. It can be a great self-awareness tool to get you thinking about the sort of qualities you're looking for from your first job once you've finished with uni, which can help you to target potential jobs/employers. Thanks so much!

I'm very much short on cash at the moment and an idea I just had is to publish my university notes as a textbook.

Any advice of how to go about doing this?

I'll be getting a job over the summer (and going away a few times too). Then in September/October I'll be starting a Masters in English! I know, I'm a glutton for punishment.

Lol! Good luck with the Masters. I'm considering one just for the sake of being a student again.

Haha I know what you mean - I like being a student! But my masters experience will be a bit different, as I'll be living at home again to save money...

Thank you

I've been living at home during my Bachelors. Planning on moving out if I do a Masters.

I like being a student only because I can get loans. I'm finding looking for part time jobs so hard!
ahhhh got my exam results!
Finishing second year with a 82.9% average.
Exam marks were: 77,77,81,81,88,94

I'm so pleased with the 94 in Differential Equations.
