When you say going over the spec do you have a list or do you mean go through the textbook? :smile:


Going over this http://filestore.aqa.org.uk/subjects/specifications/alevel/AQA-2510-W-SP-14.PDF and going through the key bits I can't remember, past papers will fill in the rest.

Do we need to learn about Switched Ethernet in networks? It is in the revision guide however I checked on the AQA syllabus and its not there :L

Doubtful if it's not on the spec, but maybe it'll be an easter egg.

Can somebody explain when underflow and overflow occur as one year AQA said it was when multiplying numbers together and another they said it is when dividing.

Overflow is when a number is too large to be represented in the given number of bits.
Underflow is when a number is too small to be represented in the given number of bits.

Overflow may occur when 2 very large numbers are multiplied together, underflow may occur when a very small number is divided by a very large number.

I'd recommend the YouTube video, you learn a lot from it too
can anybody please link me the specimen paper and markscheme for comp3? i cannot find it anywhere :frown:
