A* = 65
What do you think?

Do you think so? So many people I know didn't do that last question...

Thoughts on boundaries?

58/59 for an A* or just wishful thinking?
Hmm, I may be looking at 68ish raw marks. Enough for 100?
Edit: That's pretty wishful thinking, I may be looking at 90ish UMS.

So glad I only did this as an extra unit 😂 couldn't figure out 9 at all, did something really stupid and couldn't get ther it answer out at the beginning of 8 and didn't do the rest, and I'm pretty sure I got 4 completely wrong 😭 rest of the paper I think I did pretty well but this questions were worth so many marks haha, and I just didn't have enough time.

Regrettably it's probably wishful.

Is this for your A2 maths or further maths?

90 UMS is more likely. I think 100 is 72-73 unfortunately.

Ah well at least it's just extra units!

I did it as part of my A level maths lol. I don't even do further.

Does anyone have access to the paper? Would be good to add questions to the first post.

Too high? Hmm yes I didn't get that one either...I honestly have no idea what the bound will be it was just a shot in the dark :P what's your prediction?

Hmm yeah. I think I dropped 10-12 marks still. Overall I just need 183 for the year with 180+ in Core 3/4.

Praying I did okay in Core 4 :/ I'll be gutted if I just miss out.

What are we thinking boundary might be for 80ums?

Realistically I'd say

A* 66
A 59
B 52

etc

M2 boundaries are always so high for the difficulty of the paper -,-

I know right, I always do a paper and think 'that was fairly hard' and look at the grade boundaries and they dont reflect how I find the paper at all, unlike core maths :frown: reckon it's all the further maths people who do m2
This was harder than January 2013 which had a similar last question but it was only worth 5 marks, plus it was a show that question. This had an 8 marker in the end for which most people didn't have a clue on how to answer.

It was 66 for an A* in Jan 13, so it won't be anything higher than that in my opinion. Probably around 63/64/65 for an A* and 71ish for full UMS.

I'm pretty sure that was only worth 1 mark.

Maybe the center of mass question was worth 5 marks?
