worse case 10
best case 7

it is the last question which causes uncertainty as I have no idea what method(s) would appear on the marking scheme.

I think even -10 will be in the 90s, so why worry?

Thank you - this has reassured me a bit. I tend to mark myself harshly. I deduct most of the marks when I get a question wrong, so I thought I'd lost more than 10.

For the vector equation, i think you can get -3 if you use other vectors like BC. Is that correct?

I got -3 I think; it depends on the sign of your general perpendicular vector.

Yh if yr n in r.n is opposite to tee ems you should be ok.

it is fine
(I scaled it so It look better)

Lol edexcel don't even cover transformations in form f(ax+b) in core maths.

I'm sure they do?
C1?

Nope. They do f(x+b) f(ax) and bf(x) etc but not f(ax+b)

you are correct but I still put it in my practice papers.

Could you explain the S marks in AEA? If i get everything right in AEA with the right implication signs etc would I get 100/100?

It appears from marking schemes that you are awarded this mark if you have completed the question using a sensible method.
(think of it as a bonus mark)

I see. Guess I might lose a few since I do complicate things sometimes.

I doubt it ... it tends to be given out generously

I hope, want a high mark in this. I wonder if 100/100 gets an award or something.

people that do STEP think very lowly for AEA (from experience)
I hope you are not for a surprise

I won't be. I know AEA is challenging but I see it as lighter then STEP and think it is easier to be honest. I am doing papers and revising for it though.

Also for the area question in FP3, if they see cosh2t-sinh2t at the end of my answer with the answer 1. Will i get full marks?

assuming you mean cosh2t-sinh2t, it is fine

Niceeeee, Yh my working made no sense before that due to time I simplified in my head and had 1/2(2cosh^2(t)-2sinh^2(t))=1
