Cant the ans be in a better form like 2^n(n!)^2/(2n+1)!
This was identical to a reduction given in step III 2015 q 1.

Yh it was fthe first part of a 6 part question. Very simple indeed. I emant your answer can be simplified into my nicer looking version.

I strongly suspect you are mistaken.

Maybe it is late.
Ive just simplified your answer.
Yours is 2^n+1(n!)(n+1)!/(2n+2)!
Pull 2(n+1) from top and bottom and you get my answer.

Did you pull 2 out of the factorial at the bottom?

I hope nobody from Cambridge is looking at this...

Not really lol
Okay so your answer is
2^n+1(n!)(n+1)!/(2n+2)!
The top can be writte as 2x2^nxn!xn+1xn!=2(n+1)2^n(n!)^2 right
Bottom 2n+2!=2n+2(2n+1)!
Now the 2n+2 cancel to give my answer. Where am i going horribly wrong ?? Lol

I hope there is no typo in the answer ...
do your solution tomorrow and when I post my solutions we discuss it again.
(i do not think you can do any meaningful simplification to that but I am the King of Blunder)
