I lived at Norwood this year and there are so many rumours about it...1- I lived on the top floor and so the noise never bothered me. Yes you can hear it, but you get used to it, and more often than not you'll be at the SU making the noise anyway. If not, then there is a corridor which leads straight from Norwood to the library (you don't have to go outside) so if you'd rather study then the library is open 24/7. If you live on the bottom floor of Norwood then you get free entrance into the student nights, tickets which are highly sought after. 2- the lift does not break often. There are stairs if so, and it's better because you often bump into your friends on the way up 3- the rooms are huge! Biggest on campus. I had sleepovers with my friends in my room- we actually put another bed frame in the room! 4- the location is the best. You can see everything that is happening on campus and you walk through the SU to get to Norwood so you always know what is going on, I really got involved with the uni this year, whereas I know many other people from other accommodations didn't have a clue what was going on.. Also, some classes are held in the same building as Norwood so you can literally roll out of bed two minutes before and be early for your seminar.5- some of the SU team live in Norwood, which was really helpful this year. You get to know the uni so much better, with an insight into events etc.. They were really nice guys and it's definitely an advantage, especially during freshers when you have no idea what's going on.6- kitchens and bathrooms are shared between 7, absolutely no problem with this.Let me know if there are any other queries.
