Social Work at Sussex

Hi, I've had an offer for Social Work at Sussex through Extra - just wondering if anyone is on the course/has an offer for September 2015 and if you'd recommend Sussex?!

I'm currently living in Brighton and hoping to do a MA in Social Work at Sussex in a couple of years, and so far what I've seen from my research is that it's a decent uni for social work - they're pretty high in the league table (number 7 last year, set to be number 14 this year http://www.thecompleteuniversityguide.co.uk/league-tables/rankings?s=social%20work), and according to their page (http://www.sussex.ac.uk/socialwork/) they were ranked number 1 by the Guardian Uni Guide 2014 and 2015. Basically, they're a damn good uni for social work.

Additionally Brighton is a really fun city and a great place to live, if that influences your choice :smile:

Thank you! I am definitely swaying towards Sussex, I don't know if you know as much about the BA course, but I saw there is a Research Methods module and I'm slightly put off if there's a massive focus on the research methods part of Social Work - I know it's a requirement for the qualification but I'd rather not have it as a key module!
