Cambridge GEM 2016 entry

Hi

I hadn't seen one so figured I'd make a thread for anyone applying to the Cambridge GEM course for 2016 entry.

I'm not sure which college I'm going to apply to yet but thinking of Hughes Hall. Is anyone else thinking the same?

Feel free to post any questions you may have.

Finally someone else! Ha

Do you know anything about their interviews? I.e. are they panel or mmi?

I done a year of clinical research, ward volunteering and a placement in pathology, although only the clinical research stuff is recent. Hoping to gain more experience over the next year.

My previous degree was in Medical Science. How about you? Nursing?

Yes I did nursing in spain. I've worked as a scrub nurse, nurse practitioner, HDU nurse, diabetes nurse and on the ward. I am trying to publish a research I did in obesity management.

I've not registered. But maybe it's a good idea. I don't know my rota yet.

I'm thinking about manchester (regular entry), warwick and bart's and the London. What about you?

I'm not sure what I will be doing yet but just hoping I'll be able to make it.

I'm going to apply to Birmingham, Swansea and Sheffield (5 year). UKCAT and GAMSAT weren't the best so hoping these choices will be good enough!
